Hi I’m Sam, proud owner of Pampered Paws Dog Grooming. For all my life there’s been nothing I enjoy more than being around dogs and so, inspired by my own beautiful spaniel Stanley, I decided to train as a groomer! I am fully insured, qualified in First Aid for Dogs and achieved my OCN endorsed Dog Grooming qualification at the highly respected South Coast Dog Grooming Academy. I offer one to one services meaning your beloved dog is groomed in a quiet and peaceful environment and has my full attention throughout, no cages or cage dryers, just lots of cuddles and patience, ensuring their grooming experience is a positive one that they can look forward to.
All services begin with a 7 point health check and customer consultation to meet your dogs individual requirements.

Full Groom

Regardless of your dogs’ breed, age or character each of my services can be curated to fit their specific needs.
My Full Groom service:

✔️ 7 point health check, ear clean and nail trim as required
✔️ Revitalising hydrobath with products specifically tailored to your dogs individual needs and coat type.
✔️ Blow Dry and Brush
✔️ Full haircut as per owner consultation.
✔️ Every groom finished off with a spritz of doggy cologne and a bow tie, bandana or collar flower (well it is a pamper day after all)

Additional services such as Emmi-Pet teeth cleaning and doggy facials available on request

Zoom Groom

A groom as individual as your dog is

My service allows you to make sure your dogs individual needs are taken care of. Don’t need a full haircut? How about a Deshedding Zoom Groom, ideal for smooth coated breeds to keep your dogs’ coat in tip top condition.
My Zoom Groom:
✔️ 7 point health check, ear clean and nails trimmed as required
✔️Deshedding zoom groom
✔️ Revitalising hydrobath with products specifically tailored to your dogs individual needs and coat type

Puppy Introduction

Putting Your Pet First

I am fully committed to making your dogs’ grooming experience a positive one and therefore my Puppy Introduction Service is designed to help your new family member get off on the right paw. Available for vaccinated puppies under the age of 20 weeks, this service includes a consultation with owner followed by a relaxed introduction to the sights, smells and sounds of the salon for puppy. I gently take puppy through the experiences of grooming and am led by how well they manage. If they are happy they can have a gentle hydrobath with puppy products and may even enjoy their first blow dry! A little trim if required and of course a little flower or bow tie! Owners are welcome to bring treats, toys etc from home to help puppy feel relaxed

At Pampered Paws I am fully committed to ensuring the comfort of all my dogs and am passionate about providing older clients that extra time and love needed to give them a positive grooming experience. Underlying conditions such as arthritic joints, sensory loss and fatigue are all given careful consideration and the groom adapted to facilitate comfort. Owners can bring a favourite toy or comfy blanket to make your dog feel at home and enjoy their pampering session. They deserve it!

Teeth Cleaning

Helping to prevent tartar formation and promoting healthy teeth and gums

Teeth cleaning service using the patented emmi-pet ultrasonic tooth brushing system. This system uses ultrasound to loosen tartar and promote healthy teeth and gums.

Emmi Pet Teeth Cleaning

A regularly scheduled oral hygiene routine will help to protect your dogs teeth and gums. Each dog has their own ultrasound brush. Specialised ultrasound toothpaste reaches under the gum line to kill bacteria and germs and clean teeth and gums to prevent the build up of plague and tartar. Protects against gingivitis, oral cavities, bad breath and build up of plaque.Ultrasonic teeth cleaning is noise and vibration free for your dogs comfort throughout. It is recommended to book a course for best results

Hand Stripping Groom

The Best for Your Pet

Hand Stripping is the process of removing dead hairs from the coat whilst protecting the protective guard hairs. Ideal for terrier type dogs hand stripping maintains the waterproofing, colour and texture of the coat that clipping can alter. The hair is gently pulled by hand and using specialised tools. Please note, this procedure is not suitable for dogs who have been previously clipped and it’s suitability is dependent on the individual coat type rather than breed
